Imaje ( http://www.imaje.com ) makes a number of inkjet printers. You'll often see their output on canned goods (like datecodes on the bottom of the can). They have different heads, capable of a pretty wide range of print sizes, as well as different inks.
We have them on our Artos wire processing machines, where they write on wires that go into wire harnesses (10-20 gage wires), and are connected via RS232. Not cheap though... Dennis |
