The question I have is: What side effects can I expect from piggybacking a 40 pin ZIF socket in the existing 40 pin socket. I really don't want to try reworking the board to remove the socket and add the ZIF. I'm assuming it might add a little noise, and a few pf's extra capacitance, and perhaps cause problems at higher clock speeds.
