#128586 - XDATA access
Responding to: ???'s previous message
On a AT89C52 there is no on-chip XDATA memory, therefore any external memory access will use the /rd,/wr,ALE and the P0 & P2 ports to operate as a bus interface. There are no bits to set. On later chips with on-chip xdata memory, there are usually bits to set to enable this feature.

If you define a variable to be XDATA, then that's where it will go.

Also, please remember this is a forum - you won't be the first person to ask this question, so the answer will remain for others - directly emailling you stops this. I also sure you know how to use a keyboard - so with the abbreviations abt and plz, please use the full spelling - it makes others perception of you so much better.
