For instance, if mains frequency falls below 47.5Hz power generation plant will switch-off the line. The same with power factor. So, you won't see a mains voltage looking like a orchestral chord, but a voltage containing a clearly dominating fundamental of a frequency very close to 50Hz. Kai |
