Sure a Metcal soldering station is the way to go
I basically gave up on soldering some years ago since components got smaller about as fast as my eyes go weaker. However, much to my surprise I have succeeded in soldering a few joints in the last couple of years. Since that impressed me I just thought, that for this discussion, I'd go to the lab and see what made it possible for this old fart to solder a bit and yes, it is, indeed, a "Metcal soldering station" that we have out there. So, I can warmly recommend Metcal since something that can make me solder again (albeit just a bit) must be a great product. Erik |
