As far the prolific USB/RS232 convertors are concerned, I never got them working correctly with the "vendor provided" driver (on CD), but the newest driver downloaded directly from prolific web worked reasonably well (I tried it with an external modem).
It still did not work for ISP, the reason was described here (search Forum for prolific). Jan Waclawek |
