I was talking to this guy today who not only uses pics but he programs in pic basic, so one crap processor plus a crap programing language.To make things even worse pic basic the freeware version doesn't allow you to use interrupts or in-line assembler, you have to pay for the privilige,something like £1000, and when I asked why this was the guy told me that the more expensive version was aimed to 'professional engineers' I told him that if he showed me a professional engineer who used pic basic I would show him someone who needed firing. |
