#123506 - Don't complain about atmel |
I have an application which needs a low pin count device, some flash rom, eeprom or flash for non-volatile storage and an ADC...so I thought I would look at the philips 89LPC924 I dropped them a line saying give me a quote for 1000 peices from a prefered supplier and heard nothing back from them, did the same thing with Atmel for the MEGA8 and they got back to me within 2 hours saying they would cost me this much I could have them delivered next week, while you are waiting have 8 samples and have this CD with loads of datasheets and applications.I am not actualy all that impressed with philips their website is crap and it seems they cannot supply or they are not interested in supplying the parts they offer. |
