#122515 - Nokia 3310 LCD Printed Circuit Board footprint
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Hello Jez,

Here is a printed circuit board I laid out to accommodate the Nokia 3310 LCD. Many other Nokia phones use the same LCD so this can also be used for those as well. The LCD has two studs used as alignment pins which allows the 8 pins of the LCD to align perfectly. I added some pads to solder the tabs that are attached to the LCD cover to permanently mount it to the printed circuit board. This will allow you to cut off the Keyboard plastic cover and only be left with the LCD unit. Four holes have also been added for easy mounting. I am in the process of writing some C software to control the LCD but it is not finished. I will add that later. To print out the printed circuit board I used Paint shop Pro Version 5.0 using the Print preview from the File pulldown menu. I set the scale option to 24 so that it printed the proper size. You have to mirror the image and print it to make a printed circuit board since it is the top layer.
