#121914 - intermittent connector |
In my truck (at 6'4" I need to lie down to drive a 'car' which is both unsafe and uncomfortable) the connector for the fan is intermittent. Pulling it apart and reconnecting it solves the problem. Now, I doubt vehicle manufacturers use connectors guaranteed for 1000 reinsertions and, to replace the connector, I will need abot 5 more 'hinges' on each arm.
Any suggestions besides having a mechanic remove 1/2 the innards of the truck to be able to replace the connector? If the above sound contradictory, it IS possible to get two hands in to just pull the connector apart and resisert it, but delicate work would requirre the afoerementioned 5 more 'hinges' Erik |
