Would they actually give you an exam question like this with out the data sheet? I can't imagine their giving you such a quesion without the proper reference materials. We engineers have to know a lot of the top of our heads, but a single chip specifics? I would assume that for such an exam question, you would be provided with the basics. If I where given this as a job, the first thing I would do is get the data sheet off of the web. Why not attempt to answer the question here, provide link to data sheet. Maybe some nice people on this forum will give you a score card.
