The ADuC831's ADC is controlled by three bytes. The meaning of each of these three bytes is stated in the datasheet (1). The question itself is too vague to unambiguously determine the value for each byte. The assembler commands used to set the three bytes can be found in chapter 2 of "the bible" (2).
