Every time I'm within 6-8 meters of an iPod, I get to hear that stuff. These guys' heads are apparently so empty, that the sound resonates in their heads and comes out their noses.

My alma-mater had a study published, that showed, statistically, that extended listening to ultra-loud music, irrespective of the program material, caused a statistically significant long-term reduction in IQ.

Unfortuntately, it's hard to measure changes in the low values with which many of these guys start out.
