Connecting two SMPS in parallel for more current, is it correct
sometimes, some such power supplies have the circuitry to allow this, most do not. Just visualize that the tolerance makes one put out 9.47V and the other 9.61V, how much current will the 9.47V unit supply? ZERO. One case where you can is where you can insert a small resistor in series with each PS. Erik |
