#119017 - eBay shop Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Andy,
In point of fact an eBay shop will not limit one to an auction format. And you aren't going to get a broader (more worldwide) exposure quicker. And while he won't be constrained to an auction format, posting the occasional auction can be a good way to gauge market prices and demand. Nonetheless Jez, I would still recommend that you set up a proper off-eBay web site that you can link to from any eBay store you set up. An eBay store is going to be rather constrained in appearance and presentation. This is where the "design" that Andy is talking about will come to play. Also, if you plan to offer services in addition, or as opposed, to products, your own web site will be far more amenable. You can offer services on eBay, but it can get kind of dicey. Good luck, Joe |
