#118710 - Wire wound
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Wire wound resistors have high value of inductance because it acts as a coil. In current sensing application you need pure resistance and no inductance especially when used for chopper applications.
Some wirewound resistors have two wires wound oposite to each other to cancel out the electric field generated by current flowing in them cancelling the inductance.
