You aren't going to find a more knowlegable (sic?) group, on matters of µControllers and the 8052, than Erik, Andy, Steve, Craig, and a couple of others that frequent this forum. So not for nothing, but unless you're absolutely certain that once you do finally pick up that datasheet and/or text book and read it for yourself, you're going to understand all of it with pristene clarity, you might want to rethink that whole "Well I guess I told them!" approach to winning friends and influencing people. I know that I'm about as educated a man as you're apt to meet, with two of my undergraduate degrees being in electrical/electronic technology, and these are the people I turn to when I need help with this stuff. All I'm saying is, offend at your own peril. Or maybe you could consider what it is they wrote that seemed so horrible to you, and maybe ask yourself if they might have had a point.
