When bidding some contracts for our local school district they request for speed a fiber line. But, the fiber line is just a carrier to the ISP and it's total posssible you are getting the same speeds from the ISP as before the fiber line. What you need to know is what's on the other end at the ISP is it a T1 or a DSL?
