Around here, we call it BEagle. It's expensive (in the full-up version) and fails to do what other packages costing about the same amount readily do. The schematic entry module is the absolute worst I've ever encountered.
The PCB autorouter quits right where the work becomes difficult and tedious, owing to the fact that it fails to reconcile different pin-pitches. I could go on, of course ... This utility is useful as a Bulls**t generator, i.e. it allows you to illustrate what a product will look like, without ever building it. That's useful, sometimes, but with BEagle? RE |
