Hi Kalpak,
The PCF8587 is a good LCD controller and I started to use your suggestion. The thing that stopped me was that Philips has not yet made a RoHS (lead free) version and we have to be RoHS compliant. Funny that the LPC9801 and LPC9804 have the same PCF8576 LCD driver inside of them along with an 8K flash 8051 but are available in RoHS versions. Thanks for your suggestion. Regards, Bert |
