Thanks for your prompt response. 7.2V pack will be compact for this handheld device. I can even buy some exotic from RS/ Farnell for this project what would you suggest. In digital section the devices are. 1. dsPIC 30F2010 requires 70mA current. 2. 8X1 LCD max. 30mA. Analog Section. 1. dsPIC analog section. 2. OPA2340 requies less than 10mA. 3. LM336 ref 2mA.
