#105021 - Speed tests Responding to: ???'s previous message |
When I was at USC(University of Southern California) I tried to measure the internet access speeds using
http://www.dslreports.com/stest The download speed was around 7 Mbps and the upload speed was 8 Mbps + currently at home I have sbc dsl and I get 1.5 Mbps download, and 256kbps upload, but am sure that the corporate networks must be better, especially someone working in San Jose i.e. if he works for Cisco or Google, they might have a direct link to the back bone and might have higher access speeds. -Ashish |
