#104109 - Australia Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Down here in Australia we have several different connection types, I have a moderate ADSL connection of 1500k down/256k up, which is about 150k/s download... not too bad but there is also fixed cable internet that can be 10 times that speed.. and my ISP (iinet) offers a new ADSL service that has speeds upto 15000k down, so that equals the fixed cable.. pretty fast indeed.. and with a 5gig peak (8am - 12midnight) and 5gig off peak.. I usually download around 4gig a month, including lots of music, tv shows, movies, mostly music though, so many great sites out there with live DJ sets! once anyone makes the change from dialup modems to any kind of broadband internet, they would never want to go back! |
