But if you can't find 8051-specific work, concentrate on selling your general embedded skills This is what I am doing now, but in Canada, If I send my resume to the company or recruiter, normally they don't care about what your experience is, they will try to find EXACT words or microprocessors they want. for example, if they posted a 68HC11 job, you have 8051, zilog and motorola 68K experience, you will get nothing from potential experience. I think maybe in UK it is different. The other thing is maybe my resume is not good enough. Frank |
