#104756 - Cell phone industry good opportunities Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hello Frank,
Six weeks ago I was approached to design a product using a cellular phone which turned out to be a piece of cake. All it took was finding and installing an ultra small 3.0 VDC NO contact relay. I didn't think it was going to be worth anything but that was wrong. I am getting $70 on each sale and currently it is selling one a week. It only takes about 30 minutes to manufacture the controller and install this device which is pretty good. One thing leads into another so naturally I was asked to design another product using cellular phone video technology. This task is harder but I see a solution. This device offers $200 profit for each unit sold and it currently is selling one a week. Opportunity knocks is strange ways. Most times you have to go searching for it. All of the above were the brain storm of a girl who has no technical background but she can see what people are willing to buy and offers opportunity to people who can design controllers in a piece of the action when they sell. My advice is to look around you and see what people are forced to buy and design for that industry. Not being at the mercy of a company to employ/dismiss you allows you the flexibility to find the products that will more than likely succeed. Good luck with whatever you do. Regards, Charles Bannister |
