#104399 - AC Drive- Can you help?
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Mr Erik you have said

Just an example: each and every calculation will show that for 400V a 1400V IGBT is more than sufficient. That has proven false, using 1600V units is required or one of 25 units per year will blow.

It seems you have involved in AC drive(inverter) design. I am also designing a AC drive. Most compnay recommoned 1200v IGBT for 400 v drive. How you came to know of above calculations?
Do you know who can design AC drive? Please help
