I shop for small run components in Edmonton. As of this spring the Future electronics store was the best in Edmonton. Most of the large digikey class stores are gone or going fast.
I think that the crux is the virtual impracticality of repairing current electronic products and the concurrent reduction in hobbie electronics due to the switch to microscopic footprints. The big house manufacturers have moved offshore as well but they order in huge quantities and direct from the factories. Terry |
