Car amplifier draws high current from battery, this is why they put huge super cap with it to help car battery. so if the amplifier has on/off signal input you can use small logic level MOSFET or bipolar transistor(s) to control it. Otherwise you need high power MOSFET with soft start to protect it on turn on.
