Eric,
You were right...and the datasheet is correct...tho it doesn't make any statement about the setting of these bits in a brand new, unprogrammed condition. I put the device into the programmer settign the X2 bit(s) to be cleared and programmed FFs into the device. Plugged it in and came right up. Thanks again for the help. Cheers....Steph |
