Since you already have an escape mechanism, you can just try the fuse / lock order before power cycling.
A serial programmer can only read locked flash after erasure. A parallel programmer can only read locked flash after erasure. Erased flash has very little intellectual property value. The extra security that SerPrgEn removal gives is that your firmware will not be erased by a clever-clogs user. David. |
