I have no intention of disabling a AT89S8253 chip.
However, the way that these things normally work is after the power is cycled. So you disable SerPrgEn fuse, set Lock bits, switch power off. OTOH, are you being excessively paranoid? Just set the Lock bits and be done with it. The average punter can only clear the Lock bits by erasing the flash first. Unless your product is very financially attractive for the Asians to crack, no-one will bother. David. |
