You need a low pass filter to turn a PWM signal into an analogue signal. Whether this will work for you depends on what bandwidth you need (low pass filter corner frequency must be more than bandwidth) and how much ripple you can tolerate. If you need 2 poles or more, I'd look at adding an additional external DAC like the DAC7512N, available in a SOT23-6 package. It will take up less PCB real estate than an analogue filter. |
