Hi, I'm working on an all-new design here; still haven't chosen an MCU yet. One of the many design goals is 4 DACs, 12 bit or better. Some of the candidate MCUs have 2 DACs and a number of PWM outputs.

So I'm toying with the idea of running a PWM into an integrator, and using the resulting signal as my output. Seems like it would be pretty easy, but it could be one of those things that "almost works." So I'm wondering: good idea / bad idea? Anybody here done this successfully (or tried unsuccessfully)?

Any insights or tips are gratefully appreciated.
