#183138 - CTS/RTS Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Per Westermark said:
For a single signal, a RS-232 port can be used. This is an excellent suggestion. For input use the input handshake lines such as CTS. The hardware has state change capture capability for these lines and when programming to the Comm Port driver the application can be setup to get an event when the handshake line changes state. For output also use the handshake lines like RTS. A simple call to a driver will set the state on or off. Mike |
