Hi Morgan,

As you study bit and byte addressing, and the difference, I would suggest that you look at the address space of the whole ยต-controller. You will notice that only certain registers (ports) are bit addressable. Now look at the instruction set documentation for examples of both, think about the actual hex or binary number that instruction is turned into upon assembly, and you should get a solid understanding, not only of the difference between bit and byte addressing, but the reason that most registers are only byte addressable.
