#179802 - misconceptions

1. Should 24.5MHz be taken as the default value for calculating machine cycle time ? (The range is defined as 0-50MHz)

a) the '120 will go to 100MHz
b) there is no "default value for calculating" you calculate based on how you have set osc and PLL.

2. Is this the general thumb rule : 12 periods make one machine cycle ?, according to which one machine cycle is calculated near 489 nanoseconds.
the '120 is a one-clocker
