While some people have reported some succes with home-made PCB techniques as shown on the mentioned page, it is by no means guaranteed!
And that page doesn't show anything at all about the etching process!! It is quite likely that following that page will give you a non-working PCB! Really, as a beginner, the OP would be far better - at the very least - to buy a ready-made bare PCB, and assemble the components onto that. But that still leaves a significant risk of a non-working assembly due to inexperience with soldering, component identification, etc, etc. Hence it really, really is a better idea to start with a built & tested unit. |
