#178053 - Nordic taxation and Stockholm nights Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Well, one author in Sweden (Astrid Lindgren "Pippi") used to pay 102% in tax. However she started a movement called pomperipossa-movment in Sweden and she actually changed the tariffs so you could not pay more then you earn.
someone once said "in tha nordic countries the is so much social security that you can not die and so much tax that you can not live" Oh, i forgot to menion, I also have a small boat that i can take for a ride in the summer. Stockholm is really really nice in the summer (especially 2 am - 5 am). I'd say midnight to 2am (sunrise), the blue nights are fabulous. Erik |
