#178046 - My darn tax Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Well, one author in Sweden (Astrid Lindgren "Pippi") used to pay 102% in tax. However she started a movement called pomperipossa-movment in Sweden and she actually changed the tariffs so you could not pay more then you earn.
None of you believe this, i know i would not. But look it up, it is true. When i work i charge USD 130 every hour. I own a 10 year old Audi and have a 3 bedroom apartment (in nice area). No money on the bank and no rolex. So, i guess you recommend me to charge whenever i can, but i like my simple life and I am lucky to be able to pay the bills (even the bills for many others...). Money is not happiness! Oh, i forgot to menion, I also have a small boat that i can take for a ride in the summer. Stockholm is really really nice in the summer (especially 2 am - 5 am). |
