#176723 - 80C320 - Reset state for P1 |
On page 4 of Dallas's data sheet for the DS80C320 (document DS80C320-DS80C323.PDF) it says "The reset condition of Port 1 is with all bits at logic 1". On page 13 of the Dallas High Speed Microcontroller User's Guide (document highspeed_ug.pdf) it says the reset state is 11000000. On page 27 of the same document it says that the reset value is 00000001. Does anyone know which it is actually?
And one more question: do I have to set P1.2 and P1.3 to '1' before they will work as TXD1 and RXD1, or does the chip know when I enable the UART function that it has to turn off the drivers on these two pins? Thanks - Rowan |
