#176314 - Programming 89S51 in LINUX |
Hi all,
This is my first post. I am trying to program AT89S51 through PC parallel port in Ubuntu 9.10. Earlier i used windows loader from http://www.kmitl.ac.th/~kswichit%20/cheapcable/ and it worked fine. Now I switched to Ubuntu and looking for similar tool. There are some tools available for programming 8051 base MCU through RS232 port but the 89S51 has ISP interface and its communication protocol does not match with RS232 so Parallel port is only option. I found something in 8052.com (http://www.8052.com/users/tomi) but the links for the software on that page doesnot work. Can anybody help me out? Thanks in advance. Ashok |
