#176111 - Boards I've bought Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I have bought the Analog Devices Eval board for the ADuC845 and Atmel Wiznet eval board. The ADuC84X series are particularly well suited to precision measurements, so it would let you get down and dirty with real world embedded applications that measure temperature, pressure and stuff like that. The Wiznet targets the other end of embedded systems, which is about getting data in to PCs or on the internet via TCPIP. It might be more appropriate for a Computer Science course, but IMO it's a lot less rewarding.
Erik's recommendation of Silabs is pretty good if you don't have something more specific in mind. |
