Few processors have 6 UART, so using a UART/link isn't so easy.
You haven't talked about the distance between the processors. And you haven't said anything about required transfer speeds. Or if you intend a communication star or if it must be possible for one 8052 to send information to another 8052 withut involving the 32-bit hub processor. For short distances, I would probably consider SPI. In that case - make sure that all processors supports SPI in hardware since it isn't so fun to implement the slave side in software. For longer distances, I would probably consider either RS-485 or maybe CAN. |
