On my data sheet all it says is that it "resets" the micro controller. And in something simple like statically showing a number on a 7 seg I don't see why it needs to be reset. my data sheet says if the pin is high it resets, I have read places that it needs to be held down to ground to keep it from resetting. I really can't find any cut and dry type documentation. Since tutorials are written by people that know what they are don't they often skip over smaller details that don't pop out as important to them because they understand it. |
