#174378 - '51 and programmable logic Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Zylogic is what used to be Triscend, the '51-FPGA combination, but at a glance it appears you might use some Chinese before you will be able to use them.
The WSI/ST uPSD3xxx contained a '51 and a FLASH/RAM combo together with some CPLD (roughly two GAL16V8 equivalents), but they are currently being discontinued by ST. I know of no other at the moment. It appears the mcu/programmable logic combo is not an attractive concept, maybe since you can cram an 8-bitter into a middle-rank FPGA (but you know all about this far better than me). Just to prove this, the AVR/FPGA combo was recently dropped by Atmel, too. JW |
