No doubt you are too comitted to turn back now, but do please learn from this experience!
You could have avoided all this trouble by the simple expedient of choosing an 8051 derivative with 2 serial ports - as pointed out to you here: http://www.8052.com/forum/read/169517 Alternatively, you could have selected a combined GSM+GPS module that would have required only 1 serial port - as suggested to you here: http://www.8052.com/forum/read/169805 It is almost always better to get something that works first - and then try to "optimise" it later. |
