#171169 - PLL Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I have modified my format based on your suggestions. I usually use that method but I've been overlooking things as my project is due Wednesday.
I wanted to note that the serial port problem was due to a default core clock rate of 1.572864 MHz. Someone experienced with 8052 programming showed me the PLL section of the data sheet. The PLL allows you to set the Core Clock Frequency to 12.58 MHz. The data sheet only seems to mention this in the PLL section and nowhere else. Might be a beginner's mistake, but it seemed very unclear. |
