Did you place the antenna near a window? Not all GPS modules works well indoors. Some will not find a lock at all. Some will find a lock but will jitter a lot because they only find satellites with a small angle between them forcing the GPS to stay in 2G mode.
The SiRF StarIII in your GPS is a quite good chip so with the antenna close to a window, you should normally get a GPS position quite soon. |
