#169435 - Thanks Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I'd rather not go adding components to the board as it's already crowded, and I'm limited to the size as I'm using the freeware version of Eagle to design it. Also cost is an issue: I can buy some things here in Kansas City, but the electronics store I know of doesn't have a good selection of microcontroller-related supplies (I went in asking for a 11.0592MHz crystal and got blank stares all around), and if I order online, they want $10 to ship a $0.30 part. I'm kinda stuck with either an 89S51 or 89s52 because my programmer will only program those chips (or the ones with C instead of S)
