Indeed!

You cannot hope to get high-precision, low-noise results without a high-precision, low-noise design!
And, unsurprisingly, a high-precision, low-noise design is not a trivial exercise.

As well as the MCU manufacturer's support site, you should also visit the sites of the well-known analogue chipmakers - Analog Devices, National Semiconductor, et al - they have extensive advice & resources on such things...
